Frankfort, KY. – “Sharing is Caring”, hosted by Circle K. International will be hosted on Dec. 9 at 11:00am-2:00pm located in Exum gym.
The “Sharing is Caring” event is in collaboration with the Kiwanis and the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation. The event is for children with incarcerated parents and/or children who need assistance. The event will consist of a present pass-out children’s clothes distribution. “All events are free for children and the Frankfort community”, says junior Jiya Alcorn, President of CKI.
The organization is looking for volunteers to help out for the event. To sign up and volunteer, the link will be put in the bio of their Instagram on Dec. 6.
Circle K. International stands for Circle Kiwanis International and is a community service-based organization with a focus on the children in the community and has more than 500 clubs. Kentucky State is currently home to the largest and only HBCU chapter in the Kentucky-Tennessee district. CKI’s main goal is to uplift the next generation of leaders while developing the current leaders in each CKI club.
