Frankfort Ky – The Beta Zeta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha ( AKA) hosted their Mr. Pearlfect pageant recently in the Carl H. Smith auditorium. The four dukes battled it out to see who would take the crown.
Duke Number 1 Elijah Mack had a stellar performance as he took the stage first. He wore a light pink suit for formal wear, a custom-made outfit, with Air Force ones for his streetwear, and for his talent, he performed a monologue he wrote himself.
Duke number 2, Kedrick Glasper, wore a light olive-green suit with a black beret for his formal wear, for streetwear he wore a sunset flannel from Vale Forever, an ice cream shirt made by Pharrell Williams, Kapital bone jorts, supreme socks, and timberlands. For his talent, he showed a video in which he interacted with, played the piano, and had backup singers, along with ladies handing out roses, with roses falling from the sky.
Duke number 3 Zion Palacio wore a dazzling pink suit, for streetwear he wore a pink and black zip-up, and black pants, with LV sneakers. His talent consisted of playing the piano, singing, and having a dancer, along with roses falling from the sky.
Duke Number 4 Mugisha Donatién had on an eye-catching black suit, for streetwear he wore a custom-made outfit, with his own flag with his stage name dripdadon on it, along with Jordans. His talent had him on stage with a drummer and a bass player, in which he performed some of his own music, as well as had backup dancers.
The awards were presented to the dukes who won the category they scored the best in. Taking in Formal wear and best talent was Duke Number 4 Mugisha Donatién. The people’s choice, streetwear, and Mr. Congeniality was Duke Number 3 Zion Palacio. Highest GPA and Duke of Eloquence was awarded to Duke Number 2 Kedrick Glasper. The crowns went to Mr. Pearlfect Mugisha Donatién and Mr. Pink and Green Kedrick Glasper, with Mr. Ivy being Zion Palacio.
