Frankfort– The Golden Girls & Goddesses, an elite dance ensemble, is seeking bold and fierce dancers. This opportunity was open to both freshmen and transfer students who met the required criteria. The Golden Girls & Goddesses held auditions to find the next wave of dancers to join their ranks. They aim to redefine what it means to be golden, seeking individuals who could bring heat, energy, and unapologetic power to the stage.

The audition clinic was scheduled for Aug. 12 at 6 p.m., and the auditions were held on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. Registration was open, so interested dancers were encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. The Golden Girls & Goddesses are looking to add to their team with talented dancers who possess the glow, grind, and golden energy needed to leave a lasting legacy and impact on the Golden Girls & Goddesses and have the potential to leave an impact on the school. This was an opportunity for dancers to showcase their skills, control their moment, and become part of a platform that celebrates fearlessness and limitless potential.

The audition clinic and the auditions took place at Exum’s Dance Studio. To participate, dancers had to register by scanning the QR code and paying a $20 audition fee in order to participate in the dance show and tryouts. They were encouraged to wear all-black attire for both events — the clinic and the audition. Additionally, dancers must maintain a 2.5 GPA by the semester’s end. The audition involved showcasing their dance skills and demonstrating their unique golden energy.
