FRANKFORT, Ky – Kentucky State University recently hosted its annual Extravaganza event on the yard on Aug. 20. Students gathered to show support for the school, personal growth, and to build a stronger community.
The Extravaganza was created to connect students with many different campus organizations and to help promote self-development, networking, and the opportunity to build a positive sisterhood and brotherhood.
Tables were set up by many different student organizations. A few groups involved was KSU Girls Rock, Collegiate 100, and others. Student leaders took the responsibility of representing their groups, sharing information, and motivating students to be involved.
The event had music, local businesses, and dance performances to help bring and keep high energy from all around. Those who attended were able to learn about campus resources, find ways to be more involved, and meet new people.
Kentucky State University continues to show the importance of connection, school pride, and a very supportive environment. Events like the Extravaganza aim to motivate students to engage with campus life and to explore endless opportunities that help with individual and community growth.
