FRANKFORT, Ky- This week, the city of Frankfort is hosting numerous events in the downtown area.
On Friday, September 19, two events will take place. There will be a movie night from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. hosted by Woods and Waters Land Trust at the Boat House at River Row. Another event happening this night is the grand opening of the “My Two Kentucky Homes” exhibit. This event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Liberty Hall Historic Site.
On Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be a horror fest at Capital Plaza Hotel. Horror-Fest is a convention with multiple exhibitors and a wide variety of different interests. There will be a meet and greet with horror guests, comic books, cosplay, and so much more.
Another event will be hosted at the Capital City Airport. Aviation Day is coming on September 20, and will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will multiple vendors and an air show. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed until September 21.
