Dr. David L. Shabazz, chair of the Division of Literature, Languages and Philosophy and associate professor, received the four-year broadcast advisor award from the National College Media Association. The CMA recognizes individual accomplishments annually through different programs, including Honor Roll Advisor. Awards for professionals who have advised for five years or less, Distinguished Adviser Awards for professionals who have advised for more than five years, and several special distinctions that acknowledge service and exceptional achievements.
