FRANKFORT, Ky. – The 26th annual Chicago Football Classic was held Saturday, September
21st featuring the Kentucky State Thorobreds and Morehouse Maroon Tigers.
It was a back-and-forth game, but in the end the Thorobreds fell short.
The Thorobreds fought hard as the rushing attack was working for them averaging 6.5 yards per
carry. It worked so well it put the Thorobreds up 28-18 entering the fourth quarter.
In the end the Maroon Tigers rallied in the final two minutes, scoring two passing touchdowns to
secure the 31-28 victory.
