Frankfort Ky – Kentucky State University women’s volleyball fall short in their last game of the regular season

The Kentucky State Women’s Volleyball Team traveled to Wilberforce, Ohio to face off against school rivals, Central State University.

Despite their best efforts the Lady Thorobreds lost the match in four sets. With each set being close. The first set was a back and forth battle all the way with Kentucky State leading towards the end, but Central State fought back and eventually won the set 26-28. The second set was more of the same but with Kentucky State inching out the victory in this set (25-20). The next two sets went to Central State as they found a way to maintain their leads even though Kentucky State was fighting hard to swing the momentum in their favor. Central State won the third set 17-25 and the fourth set 23-25.

Although the lady Thorobreds suffered a disappointing loss in their final regular season match, they still have a lot to look forward to with the SIAC Conference Championship Tournament coming up.
