FRANKFORT, Ky. —Kentucky State University will be closed and all classes, events and activities are canceled on Tuesday, Jan. 31. 

Kentucky State University health and safety are of the utmost importance, the university said in an email to all members of the KSU community. The university is urging faculty, staff and students to regularly watch weather patterns and use caution as conditions change. 

Winter weather closures won’t stop meal service, but hours of operation and menu options can be restricted. For more updates on the dining hours and menu options visit KSU Dining’s Instagram.

The weather is expected to remain cold for the next couple days. The Weather Channel says low temperatures will dip to 21 degrees this evening.
